mixing up the apples

"I'm mixing up the apples right mom!"

"ahhhh But these apples are too hard to smash mom right!?"

"Now they are all soft to smash all up mom!"

"Mmmmm these smell good! Can we eat them mom!?



I have to admit, Isaac and I don't do a lot of school at home, but we do try once a week.  I have also found its much more fun if he doesn't realize its school time either.  "Sid the Science Kid" was on tv and they were doing an experiment with apples.  Light bulb!  That would be fun, I have apples, lets do it.  Isaac had so much fun doing this project.  He even understood that the apples started out hard, and then got soft after we let them heat up.  At the end, we had yummy homemade applesauce.  YUM
