October Snow

Snow in October! Who wants that! Well kids don't seem to mind. So instead of moping around in the house today watching it snow outside, we got on our warm coats and enjoyed the snowflakes flying. It was a lot of fun, and great to get outside. Isaac must have had a natural instinct to try to catch snow on his tongue. He was fascinated with it. Macie took off on her bike and we followed behind chasing her. We played till our cheeks were rosey!

Catwalk, oh on the catwalk...

Isaac loves putting on other peoples shoes. Rogers work boots, tennis shoes, my shoes, Macies shoes, and even her dress up high heeled shoes! He walks wonderful in them! He must have good balance. Next stop, the catwalk! :)

The Doughnut Theif

Occasionally Roger will bring us home doughnuts in the mornings. One chocolate with sprinkles for Macie, and one just chocolate for myself. Leaving Isaac out of the picture. Well apparently hes caught on to the doughnut mornings and was feeling left out. As soon as Macie left her spot at the table he darted after her delicious chocolate sprinkled doughnut! Too bad Macie already licked most of the frosting off of it... but he didn't care. So from now now, our orders will be 3 chocolate doughnuts, 2 with sprinkles.

Fashion Diva

I am finding myself having to let go a little bit of what Macie wears day to day. She has a mind of her own, shes 3. So on this school day she let me help her pick out her outfit, but I had no say in what shoes she wore. So she picked out Halloween socks that lit up (size 12 months) and princess shoes that also lit up. She was proud and said her outfit was awesome. So of course I said "yes, it is awesome!" Shes awesome.

Who, me?

This is Isaac's "It wasn't me" look.
No mom, it wasn't me who just threw that toy across the room. I didn't just climb up on the island, or table, or even scale the back of the couch. All those papers have been on the floor, not on the counter. I didn't rip that page in the book and say "Ugh OH!" I've been right here, don't I look cute!

The Banana Story

Isaac was determined to sit down at this little table and eat his banana whole. He did manage to get into the chair and start munching on his banana. He did pretty well until he started to try and eat the peel! He didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with that though. Silly.

Sweet moments

Macie falls asleep in her new winter gear, Isaac loves carrying around Macies babies and gives them kisses, and my two favorie sweethearts make my day by posing for a picture together. Life doesn't get any better than this!

"Hey dad, I am off-roading!"

Here is how we spent the last nice days of summer. I feel like we jumped right into winter this week with the cold weather!
