Isaac is 4 months old now, and since then hes made so much progress! Hes rolling over, scooting off his play mat, and today I heard a big grunt from him and I look over and he managed to move himself while on his belly to watch cartoons. The grunt must have gave him his power to move. :) OH, and hes also deciding to NOT sleep through the night now... Hmmm we are hoping its temporary. We were liking our full nights rest.

"Mama, You arent crazy anymore!"
Ever since we moved Macies car seat to a window seat shes complained shes "falling." Well I thought she was being dramatic because it appeared to be installed correctly. I decided to take a closer look at it yesterday after she told me I was driving crazy! Embarrassing enough, it wasn't as secured as it should have been. So I fixed the problem, we drove off and Macie tells me "Mama! You aren't crazy anymore!" Thanks, I try.

Miss Van Gough

Macie is always able to sweet talk her Uncle Dave into playing with sidewalk chalk with her. They made some pretty awesome masterpieces the other night. As you can tell, shes pretty proud of them. "Thanks Dabid!"
Compare

Everyone thinks Isaac is so big compared to how Macie was when she was a baby. Well I know Isaac is bigger, but Macie wasnt as little as everyone thinks!
Growing up

Seems like as Isaac's 4 month birthday is approaching, hes growing up fast! Last week I felt like he grew up in one day! He started eating rice cereal, found a new interest in sitting in his walker, and he sat in the stroller like a big boy when we went on our morning walk! I think hes already trying to keep up to his big sister! :)
Lost and Found

When my cat Keagan went missing more than a month ago I was heartbroken. She has been a part of my life for 14 years, so I really felt like I lost a person. After a month went past I had to give up hope. Then to my surprise I got a call last Friday from a nice man saying that he thinks he may have my cat! I thought there was no way it was Keagan being he lived across the Muddy River. I packed up the kids and away we went to check out the new lead on Keagan. As I pulled up to their driveway I was shocked to see her sitting on their door step. I couldn't get out of the car fast enough to get her. I don't know how she got that far away from home, or how she survived a whole month on the run, but I am so grateful for the family she found out there. She came home skinny, but other than that shes healthy as can be. I am so happy to have her back!

Summer Parties

Macie got to have a Lemonade Party and a Tea Party this past week. She had so much fun dressing up for her parties and being a little hostess. I figured summer is ending too fast, so we needed to have a lemonade party with her cousins before their school started up. Even though her sign said "Free!" she earned enough money to go buy herself a Strawberry Shortcake doll! Then on Monday she invited her grandma over for tea and cake. They had a lot of fun!

Thrill Rides
Rogers one and only hobby to to take his Jeep out wheeling. I would say his Jeep love is right behind the list of his wife and kids. He cant wait to take his little jeeping buddies with when they get older. I think this is where Macie and Isaac get their thrill factor because they sure didn't get it from me! Macie's favorite ride at the fair this year was the roller coaster. I got goosebumps riding it, so I figured she was really scarred! As soon as we got off I asked if she had fun and she said "I go again!" Needless to say, Roger went with her the next 2 times.

That Tickles!

Mealtimes in our household can be rather tricky sometimes. Macie is determined not to eat pizza or pancakes. The two of foods I would think a 2 year old would love, she will not eat. Instead she would rather chow down clam chowder! She does suprise us sometimes though. The other night I had some limes that were served with our meal and she picked one up and sunk her teeth in to it. Roger and I couldnt wait to see her reaction. Her face srunched up and she said "That tickles!" and giggled. Then decided to take another bite at it.
Anther food I cant get her to eat is hotdogs. I've tried to convince her they where chicken or ham. Today she was eating Chicken tortilla soup and it had some kidney beans in it. She ate one and said, "Mama, whats in my mouth?" I told her it was a bean. Then she tells me "No, its little hotdogs!" Then proceeded to eat every "hotdog" in the soup.

Enfamil is Gold

Isaac woke up for his early morning bottle this morning and I walk in the kitchen to find his can of formula on the floor. Wasted formula all over the floor! Who was the culprit of this you ask??? Shes not as innocent as she looks.

No thank you
You know your toddler is getting ready for potty training when she brings you a diaper and says "change me, palease!" That is unless shes busy playing. These are the days when she flashes by me and I call her Pepe' the Skunk. So I have to ask her, "Macie did you poop?" Her response.. "No tankyou."
Well at least shes polite.

Macie and Daddys Day
Roger has been wanting to take Macie bowling for months. A couple weeks ago they had a Macie and Daddy day. It started out in the morning with Macie sweet talking him into her wearing her Easter dress. So she was pretty stylin' at the bowling alley. :) They had a great time, and she even thew a few strikes! Thanks to the bumper lanes.

Easy Baby?
After having Macie we were determined she was going to be our only child. She gave us a reality check her first two months showing her spunk and that babies arent always easy. As the months went by we realized that it isn't that hard being parents, and her spunk makes her fun! So as a result of loving her so much, we had baby Isaac just one week before our little girl turned 2. This time we were ready with all the gimics for a "difficult" baby, but as it turns out, there is such thing as an easy baby! We are thanking Macie now for breaking us in her first two months. Its made us much easier going parents the 2nd time around. So having Isaac has been a breeze! He is a laid back, easy going little guy who melts our heart. He even sleeps through the night. Something we thought was a myth for a baby to do at two months! Nothing seems to phase him unless hes hungry, tired or wet. Hmm seems to me he may just be a typical man? ha

I do it! I do it!
Well over the past year Macie has always watched her dad closely as he worked on projects in the house. She knows the names of his tools, thanks to Handy Manny, and a couple of weeks ago she found out what an allen wrench was, and what it does. So she took it upon herself to use it correctly as we were changing her crib into her big girl bed. She is her dads daughter!

And as an end result she LOVES her Big Girl Bed!

Burn Baby Burn
These days Macie has started to become quite the little singer. She sings her ABC's (sometimes leaving out L M N O P,) "Twinkle Twinkle Little Tar," Her own version of a lullaby to baby Isaac, "Go to sleep, Go to sleep." And most recently Taylor Swifts, "Just Another Picture to Burn." We had a music channel on in the backround and all the sudden Macie was singing along to Taylor "Burn baby burn baby burn!" I guess you could say I play that song quite a bit in the car. Ironic enough, her papa says shes going to look like Taylor Swift when she grows up. Well shes got a start! What do you think? Future rock star?
