Our year in review...
January was cold, and we trudged through snow. Sarah got her wisdom teeth pulled, and man did that blow!
February, Sarah turned 30, and we celebrated Valentines Day with Valentine cupcakes.
March was still cold, and a lot of snow! Isaac won a John Deere basket at the schools Basket raffle, and I enjoyed a girls trip with one of my best friends to enjoy a weekend in MT to go to a book signing of Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman! One of my favorite memories!
April Isaac turned 3 and shared his birthday with a major blizzard! We still managed to celebrate his John Deere party with family. We just did it a little differently than planned. Power was lost for 3 days and we wondered how long it could last!
May, Macie turned 5 and was an official big kid. She had a Tangled theme party with a 2 tiered cake to celebrate with friends, and luau theme party to celebrate with family. Roger is 30 something, with an awesome jeep cake!
June and July we filled out a summer bucket list and made it our best summer ever! We enjoyed the sun, camping, going on day trips, and counted down to the start of school!
August, I had a lump in my throat for weeks because Macie was starting Kindergarten! She loves school though, and I see how much she has grown and matured in just a few months.
September, we got used to a new school routine! Isaac decided preschool wasn't for him yet, so he gets to hang out at home with me, mommy, all day. :) I find that he teaches me something new every day. Hes my kid who enjoys all the little things in life, and takes it all in. Hes awesome!
October, we had a month of spooky suppers and celebrated Halloween with Rockstar Barbie, Handy Manny and the Rockford peaches!
November, our month of being thankful, and boy did we learn how much we have to be thankful for! My dad, aka Papa, had a heart attack and ended up having quadruple bypass surgery. This was the scariest time for me, but just when you think you can't handle something to that extreme, you find out how strong (and weak) you are and that family and friends pull together. My kids taught me that everything was going to be ok and they were right. My dad is recovering awesome, and feels great. That is a lot to be thankful for!
December, our month of holiday planning, baking, decorating, celebrating, and being thankful. Macie sang Christmas songs at the Kensington with her class and reminded me again of how big she is getting. We enjoyed our Christmas with family, and rang in the New Year!
I'm so ready for 2012!
September
