The sad and lonely froggie potty. I have heard from many people that boys are harder to potty train than girls. Sadly enough, this is ringing true for us as well. Macie was difficult to get past her stubborness to use the potty, but once we broke through that she was trained in day at age 2 1/2. Isaac was potty trained in a ,day, but that lasted a weekend. I could see in his face when he decided he was bored with it. "I just go pee in my underwears ok mommy." and that was the end of that. Well, we are trying to break through the boredom barrier with Isaac. He gets the whole process, he knows when he has to potty. I have tried various ways. M&M rewards, tootsie roll rewards, a potty chart. All ended with no result. So I tried Doritos. Those work, when he wants to eat them. Now we are onto money. Pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters. He LOVES this so far. We will see how long it lasts.
