Life with Macie

I get those emails every now and then about "the things kids say." I always find them amusing, but actually wonder, are they for real? Well I could write a whole book about the things Macie says this week! Every day I have gotten a good laugh listening to her. Here are just a few things she has come up with.

Roger brings his new Jeep home and wants Macie to get in and take a look at it. She comes inside from the garage, comes up to me and says,
"Daddy just want me to go in his Jeep, I tell him I already have my own Jeep! and that's all I have to say."

"mmm I sure wish Tinkerbell would come here and bring us Spring!"

I ask Macie if I can use her stool to reach up higher to paint and she tells me;
"Mommy NO! I need that stool, and besides you will probably break it!"

"Daddy can you heat this soup up for me? Just for maybe about 3 hours or so?"

"Daddy I played jacks today! Actually for about 3 hours."

I asked her what her favorite thing was about Daddy, and she says
"My favorite thing about him is his famous cookies!"

"Actually Isaac, I don't really want you in my room, but I guess you can come. Are you coming Isaac? I have the perfect place!"

Isaac sits by her door and listens to her play, she hears him, opens her door and says,
"Isaac! Actually you will never get in, you are not coming in my room, you can't come in, you are not allowed by my door." (this is happening as I am typing... )

"Isaac you cant come in my room, I am practicing my music stuff, actually you can be the prince, I will be the ballerina and mommy be the princess."

"Mommy lets play Cinderella! I be the princess, and you be the mean witch!" (gee thanks!)

I tell Macie and Isaac that I have the best kids ever! and Macie says,
"Yah! and I have the best Mommy ever too!" (ahhhhhhh!)
