The Day She Lost Her Spunk

In one word we would describe Macie as "spunky." Shes been spunky ever since she was an infant, and has never seemed to have lost it. Well, that is, until she came down with another virus last weekend and it really knocked her down! We always wondered what it would be like to have kids that just fall asleep in the cart at the store, or not say a word during lunch at a restaurant, take 3 hour naps, and sleep till 9:00. Macie was a completely different little girl, and we realized that her spunk it what makes her Macie! I missed her being obnoxiously loud while I am trying to cook dinner, or her bouncing all over the restaurant booth while we are trying to have a nice dinner. Now we know both worlds, and would never take the spunk out of Miss Macie! A couple days later she started to feel better, and I said to her "Macie! You got your spunk back!" and she said "I know, I lost it."
