Well now they are 3 and 5. 3 and 5 is such a great year! They play together so well. Macie compromises her barbies for playing tractors and camper guys, and Isaac compromises by picking up the Polly pockets in his cool trucks. "Hey Polly's, need a ride!"
Isaac will defend Macie to the end. If he sees that Macie is in trouble, he is the first to come to her defense. We always say he would walk in front of traffic for her! Macie teaches her brother all about the rules of the house. "No Isaac, you can't do it that way." She also preps him for preschool. "Isaac when you go to preschool, Miss Jenny will have crayon boxes for you there!"
Today was one of those days where they melted my heart. They both had shots. Macie was so brave and went first. She told her brother it would be ok. So Isaac goes next (and BTW he tells the nurse he wont even cry) and he did great till the 3rd stinging shot and he just whimpered a bit, but Macie was there to grab his hand and ask if he was ok. Such love! They walked out of the clinic holding hands.....
