We have been anticipating the first day of school for a while now, and last week it finally came! Our usual shy daughter was overly excited for her first day. This is a good thing, but made me worry that all the excitement would end when we got to her classroom. She did wonderful, she was so brave and proud and happy to be there. I wasn't going to cry, but after seeing her make new friends immediately entering the classroom, I teared up. :) She was going to be OK, and I was going to miss her while she was learning fun things in school. Now, it does help immensely that my sister is her teacher. :) So I hope she doesn't thing that she will follow her to every grade she enters. ha ha.
