And then there was Grass!

Dirt landscaping has been the normal around here. In fact, so normal that when we would go to someones house with grass, Macie thought grass was so cool! "Look Mommy! Grass!" So after Roger worked hours on end to get the sprinklers in last week he spent Friday picking up grass at the sod farm in Fairview. Friday night we burned the midnight oil (ok 11:00 oil) to get the sod rolled out. Macie LOVED seeing grass. She was a great helper too! That is, until she discovered break time, then bedtime. Roger and I worked hard to get it all laid Friday night. Isaac woke up Saturday morning, he did his morning routine of going to the window to look out, and to his surprise it was green instead of brown! His expression was so cute. He pointed outside and said "Ugh, uhg!" Translated into "LOOK!" GRASS!" ;) Grass is great, I don't feel like I live in the slums anymore, but the mosquito's love it too! :( Next step, sod the backyard! Can we say SOD PARTY! ha ha.
