See the picture on the right? The one with Macie so proud holding her baby brother? Well I thought that's what life would be like, Macie loving her little brother. Boy was I wrong! Once Isaac became mobile she hasn't been so fond of him and I spend my days and early evenings saying "No Macie, don't kick." "Macie don't hit your brother." "That's Isaac's Macie, give it back." "Why did you just push him?"
Poor Isaac, he just loves Macie and would do anything to get her attention. He always greets her with a his huge grin and waves "hi" in the morning. The past couple weeks I am seeing some fun interaction between them! Macie is realizing that Isaac isn't so bad after all, and he can play with her. They laugh and giggle, share snacks, and when I picked up Macie from a play date with her auntie she gets in the car and says "HI Isaac! I missed you!" Hearing that is worth all the "No Macies!"
